Q. How do I get started with AP Professionals?

Q. Do I have to pay a fee or sign a contract to register with AP Professionals?
A. Job seekers are never charged a fee or required to sign a contract to register with AP Professionals. If you are actively seeking new employment, we anticipate that you will continue to search for and apply to positions on your own. We encourage you to do so! Our services should supplement your job search.
Q. What types of opportunities are offered by AP Professionals?
A. We offer professional level full time employment with our client partners on a direct hire, temp to hire, and temporary / contract basis within the following specialties: Information Technology, Accounting & Finance, and Engineering.
Q. What is the difference between direct hire, temp to hire, and temporary / contract employment?
A. On a direct hire basis, you are considered an employee of our client partner upon start – just as if you applied to and accepted the position on your own. On a temp to hire or temporary / contract basis, you are considered an employee of AP Professionals. Temp to hire allows you and the client a trial period of typically 90 days to assess mutual long-term fit before hire. Temporary employment has many benefits as well.

Q. Does AP Professionals sponsor H-1B visas?
A. No, AP Professionals does not typically sponsor H-1B visas. Please let us know upfront that you require sponsorship so we can determine if options are available for you.
Q. After I submit my resume to AP Professionals, how will I find out about positions that match my background?
A. As they become available, AP Professionals will call you to discuss job opportunities that are a potential match with your education, experience, and skills. However, all of our available opportunities are posted on our job board. If you are interested in an opportunity, contact your AP Professionals Recruiter directly 1-800-276-6306.
Q. Should I check-in with my AP Professionals Recruiter to let them know I am still available and seeking employment?

Q. Will AP Professionals share my resume without my knowledge?
A. No AP Professionals will not share your resume without your knowledge.
Q. Will I have the choice to decline opportunities presented to me?
A. Yes you have a choice to decline job opportunities presented to you. We ask you to be open and honest with your career goals and job search objectives throughout the hiring process.
Q. What if I accept a position through AP Professionals that does not meet my expectations?
A. Prior to starting your new role, AP Professionals will provide you with as much information as possible about the responsibilities and company to make an informed decision. If your expectations are not met, please contact your AP Professionals Recruiter to discuss the matter and we will reach a solution together.
Q. How will I receive my paycheck if I am employed through AP Professionals?
A. AP Professionals delivers payment via direct deposit on a bi-weekly (every 2 weeks) basis. However, if you would like to have your paycheck mailed to you or pick it up in our office in person we are able to accommodate.
