Hybrid work schedule: Remote + 2 days onsite weekly
Location: Remote / Tempe, AZ – must be based in Arizona or willing to relocate

Responsible for providing application development/support of Customer Relationship System. There is extensive development work from a project-based perspective that the successful candidate will be contributing to that will require them to work closely with other team members and clients to develop solutions to enhance existing business processes. Projects range from major to minor enhancements on existing systems, as well as new development. The position will work mainly with the Billing functionality within CRM.

Job Responsibilities

  • Analyze, evaluate, test, debug, document, and implement complex software solutions in support of the Customer Relationship System
  • Code and test solutions based upon the technical designs utilizing the methodologies, procedures, architectures and standards of the system and to be able to incorporate these into the construction process for the system
  • Develop and maintain existing system documentation
  • Support testing teams
  • Ensure solutions provide system stability by following application standards and development/support methodologies
  • Communicate status to client stakeholders, project managers, team leads, team members and management
  • Provide after-hour technical support as needed
  • Monitor program execution for expected performance and trouble shoot issues
  • Use design and coding methods in specific programming languages to initiate or enhance program execution and functionality

Education
Completion of a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution is preferred

Experience

  • Strong COBOL, DB2, SQL, JCL knowledge are required
  • Experience with HTML, CICS, CICS Web Support, JavaScript, JQuery and MQSeries is helpful but not required
  • Experience with mainframe tools: TSO, ISPF, File-Aid, Savers, BMC, Xpediter, SCLM is beneficial
  • Knowledge or experience with mainframe and web development is beneficial
