Total Compensation:

The annual salary range for this position is $125,453.55 – $200,725.85. Skills & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Health Administration, or a related field. (Master’s Degree is preferred)
  • 7+ years of progressively responsible experience in public health or public health adjacent programs, including 3+ years in a senior leadership or management role overseeing public health programs, services, and staff. Demonstrated experience with compliance of federal, state, and local policies in health or social service setting.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement equity-focused strategic plans that align with public health objectives, including experience in community health needs assessment, capacity building, and partnership development.
  • Extensive experience in operational business management, including budget development and management, contract negotiation, and human resource management.
  • Strong communication skills, with experience representing an organization in governmental and community settings, including working with media and presenting to governing bodies.
  • Experience working with Unions is strongly preferred.

Skills & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree & 6+ years’ experience in Human or Social Services in a Sr. Manager or Executive level role.
  • 3+ years’ experience leading strategic planning and development
  • 3+ years’ experience in Executive Oversight of Administration and Finance
  • 3+ years’ experience leading programs that address racial, social, and economic equity, public service, and community well-being
  • Labor relations and experience managing in a union environment will be highly desirable.
  • Demonstrates strong leadership in strategic planning and program development, with a focus on addressing homelessness, poverty, educational success, immigrant and refugee support, and domestic and sexual violence.
  • Proven ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders and advance equity goals.
  • Financial acumen is essential for overseeing budgets and funding streams.
  • Effective staff management skills are needed to foster a culturally responsive and diverse team.

Mark Pautler, Jerry Tenenbaum & Tony Ragusa, starting us off with a strong foundation!

Our  three founders & partners were able to get together in upstate New York to celebrate a wedding in the Pautler Family! Mark’s son got married recently & it was a beautiful event where all three original AP Professionals could share in this monumental occasion.

Mark & Jerry originally met in 1982 while working together at ADP in Rochester, NY. They both enjoyed working for ADP but when the opportunity to partner together with Tony came their way, they knew they had to dive right in. In 1993, AP Professionals opened their first branch in Western New York (AP WNY). Mark then partnered with Tony to open AP Professionals of Rochester in 1996. Finally, Jerry, Mark & Tony joined forces to open AP Professionals of Phoenix in 1998! Jerry, having boots on the ground in Arizona, built up the AP Professionals of Phoenix office and eventually was able to expand into Nevada, Oregon, Washington & Maryland with the help of a committed team that remains intact today!
