2025 was (yet another) year for record books – AP is ready to take on 2026!
Once the holiday season comes to an end, internal AP Professional employees get to start off the new year with an energizing Kick-Off weekend! Each year our President hosts all of our team members for a weekend in our homebase city of Scottsdale, Arizona. The weekend is put together to show appreciation for the team’s hard work throughout the past year and to provide a chance for the team to reset for the upcoming year! Our entire internal AP team from around the country is invited to join. They are also encouraged to bring a guest with them for the kick-off. This year we flew in team members from Portland, Seattle, Vegas, Baltimore and Buffalo. It’s not often that the entire team gets to interact in-person, so these events are extra special!
January 9th, 2026
The weekend started with an AP happy hour at Gainey Ranch Golf Club complete with a cornhole & a pickleball tournament. While some of us hit the courts, others were able to enjoy delicious food & drinks while catching up with each other. Open play let everyone switch on & off throughout the night. Gathering everyone together in-person from all across the country doesn’t happen often. Therefore, it was wonderful to make the most of it!
January 10th, 2026
Saturday started with two technology forward putt-putt rounds at PuttShack in Scottsdale. Lunch was provided & the team had a wonderful time with the interactive courses. Holes included trivia questions, carnival games & arcade games etc. After we wrapped up, the group had some time to themselves. Some decided to explore the local shops while others decided to go back & hang out at the hotel pool! Saturday concluded with a wonderful dinner event for the entire AP team & their guests at a steakhouse & ocean club seafood restaurant in Old Town Scottsdale.
Overall, this is a weekend that we all look forward to each & every year. Although we all communicate virtually on a daily basis, working from home & in other states keeps us physically apart a majority of the time. Being able to see each other in person, have some laughs & catch up puts us all in a refreshed mindset for the upcoming year. We look forward to what 2026 has to offer!
