Bruce McDaniels serves as Vice President/Chief Information Security Officer for Parkland Health & Hospital System in Dallas, Texas. He has extensive technology leadership experience in multiple industries, such as energy, manufacturing, entertainment, and healthcare. Mr. McDaniels has a broad and diverse technology background, leading organizations responsible for Applications Development, Service Management, Operations, and Information Security. He has extensive experience in building high performing IT organizations, as well as leading major insourcing/outsourcing and managed services initiatives.
Mr. McDaniels holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Colorado, a Master of Business Administration from Boston University, and a Master of Science from the University of Dallas. He holds the designation of Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) and Project Management Professional (PMP). He also maintains professional affiliations with InfraGard, ISACA, HSIN, MS-ISAC, and Project Management Institute.


Matt Dimino
EVP of Advisory Services for Operational Technology at First Health Advisory
Matt Dimino is the EVP of Advisory Services for Operational Technology at First Health Advisory. He brings a wide range of technical, administrative, academic, and clinical engineering knowledge to this team. Matt has over 15 years of experience in various roles in academics, clinical engineering, and security, many of those years as a practitioner in medical device security. Through his career he has developed multiple security programs, integrated complex architectures, performed security consulting, as well as developed risk assessment methodologies coupled with enterprise risk reduction experience. A major focus for Matt is to expand on IoMT risk management strategies and prepare First’s customers and partners for the future of IoMT to create a safer environment of care.


Travis Kobernick
Director, Clinical Engineering, Parkland Health 
Travis has led CE nearly a decade, driving the use and integration of leading technology to improve efficiency in process, reduce patient safety and downtime risk while working closely with IT and security teams to become a key stakeholder in addressing cybersecurity vulnerabilities throughout Parkland’s fleet of medical, OT and IoT devices.
